PROMOTER DIRECTORS : MR. SABYASACHI SAHA & MRS. DIPANWITA SAHA
At 1920s, the time of undivided Bengal & India too, was of British Empire under Emperor 6TH Edward and Queen Victoria The great grandfather of Mr. Sabyasachi Saha, Late Nasiram Saha had whole-sale business of fruits and dry fruits like Pear, Orange, Grapes, Pomegranate, Cashew, Almonds, Pistachio, Peanuts and Kismis etc. at ISHWARDI of PABNA district (presently at Bangladesh) which was then a famous railway junction and big business hub.
The family also owned prestigious distributorship of famous bakeries of that time like Britannia, Lily and Santosh etc. Importantly the mode of transport at that time mainly was via rivers and sea as roads were not so developed.
Later on Mr. Saha’s grandfather Late Hiralal Saha set up another branch of business at village- Simulia Kumarbhoge, beside Louhajong under Munshiganj subdivision of DHAKA district (presently in Bangladesh).
The promoter director Mr. Sabyasachi Saha graduated in Bio-Science from Krishnanagar College in 1993. At the same time he started his career by setting up Nursing Home (Health Care) business taking along his wife, Mrs. Dipanwita Saha, with whole-sale business of medical and surgical goods.
In the year 1999 Mr. Saha extended & diversified his business to mixed Agro-Eco-Farming with:-
(A) Plantation of herbs and other medicinal plants (used in ayurvedic treatment) with stock & trade and extraction of aromatic essential oils in small scale.
(B). Dairy and Goat farming and processing in Pedong near Kalimpong (Darjeeling) at the Himalayan region of West-Bengal and later started mushroom cultivation along with his Wife Mrs. Dipanwita Saha who is a post-graduate having good experience in accounts and office management.
At a later stage Mr. Saha found the time right for his dream project of putting up a full fledged food processing unit with integrated cold chain in his native district of Nadia and thus came into existence M/s Yummz Foods Pvt. Ltd. Nadia district of West-Bengal is a well known export processing zone for cultivation of Baby and Sweet Corn and vegetables (as declared by APEDA, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. Majority of raw-materials are available in proximity of 50km. radius from the location of the unit.
